Flood Light and Photoelectric Sensors
How do sensors go along with machine vision?
Photoelectric sensors are widely used as an assisting tool to ensure smooth and efficient inspections. The applications of these sensors include detecting, counting, and tracking situations such as physical defects or abnormal movements. Signals will then be sent to the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) to take appropriate measures such as taking images of goods on the conveyor belt.
Research has shown that the Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of the machine vision industry will increase by 7% for the next 5 to 6 years. The Covid-19 pandemic has caused many manufacturers to realize the importance of automation as the productivity rate has significantly dropped due to the lack of manpower.
As a result, there has been a massive increase in demand for quality inspection and automation to compensate for the lack of manpower in the manufacturing industry post Covid-19. Currently, the largest growth in demand for machine vision comes from food and beverage, pharmaceutical and automation industries. At the same time, there has been a surge of demand in vision-guided robotic systems, which will potentially increase the market size of the automation industry.
In terms of sensors, studies have shown that the CAGR of industrial sensors will grow by 9.8% in the next 4 to 5 years due to the growing popularity of Industrial 4.0 as well as the Internet of Things are helping to boost the market.
A surge in demand for sensor technology in other industry including semiconductor and food processing was witnessed due to its capability in information processing.
We are pleased to introduce a new range of high-quality flood lights designed by EFFILUX, a subsidiary of our organization based in France which specializes in an innovative advancement in flexible design.
This comprehensive range of flood lights are offered in many models including Bar light, Ring light, Dome light, Spot light and Flat light. They are highly flexible as customized options such as wavelength adjustments, lens positioning, diffusers, electronic driver, and optical accessories are available.
You can opt for waterproof models which are IP-rated for industrial applications where equipment is exposed to water, dust, and other contaminants, during food processing or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Suitable applications include robotics, logistics, biomedical, F&B, automotive, 3D, pharmaceuticals, packaging, cosmetics, and other machine vision applications.
As mentioned, Photoelectric sensors works well together with Machine Vision components. CCS Asia provides sensors which includes photoelectric sensors, displacement sensors as well as vision sensors: Amplifier built-in type, Fiber sensor, Laser sensor, BGS distance setting sensor, Transparent-object detection sensor and the Colour mark sensor.
